- Hello all.. Once again, I come forth with an interesting question
- (for me). I have modeled the pieces of a siren type light. I have
- incorporated the pieces into a scene. This is my question.
-
- If the light inside the red casing (like an old police car) is
- white light, then it should cast red shadows or when it passes
- through the casing with Color Filter on right? I am using 3.5 and
- the only time I have gotten "red" light from white inside the case
- is when I turned on Ray-traced shadows (this is undesirable to me
- because they take too long to render and don't look as nice as shadow
- mapped). I have only gotten red shadows from white light when turning
- ray-tracing on. If I use shadow maps, then I get white light through
- the red casing even with Color Filter on..
-
- Thanks for any advice in advance!!
